Introducing French and Spanish telehealth on Airvet.

At Airvet, we are committed to making pet care accessible and inclusive for every pet parent. Accessibility means not only offering care quickly during a time of need, but ensuring that the delivery of care is available in a language preferred by the pet parent. Over the past few months, our team has been dedicated to expanding our telehealth service beyond English and we’re thrilled to announce that starting in October 2024, we’ll begin offering care in French and Spanish to select members.

Why Airvet is expanding our language offerings

This update is about more than just translation—it’s about empowering our members to care for their pets with confidence. Communicating with a veterinarian in the language pet parents are most comfortable with ensures that pet parents regardless of their preferred language can get the support they need to help their pets live their happiest, healthiest and longest lives.

True equity in pet care means offering personalized, accessible services that meet people where they are. Taking this first step to expand our language options ensures that even more pet parents have the same opportunity to provide the best care for their pets, making Airvet a more inclusive and supportive platform for all.

Accessing care in French and Spanish

To start, we’re prioritizing translating the most-used and most-important functions. With this expansion, French and Spanish-speaking pet parents can confidently navigate the Airvet platform, make appointments, and speak with veterinary professionals in their language of choice—fostering a stronger connection between pet parents and the vets of Airvet.

Updating your preferred language in the Airvet platform

Switching to your preferred language on Airvet is simple. Whether you’re new to the platform or an existing user, here’s how you can make the switch:

New Members: If you’re downloading Airvet for the first time, your account creation process will automatically match your device’s default language. If your device is set to Spanish or French, you’ll be able to choose your preferred language as you set up your account.

Existing Members: Already have an Airvet account? No problem! You can update your language preferences at any time by visiting your user profile settings in the app. Simply select Spanish or French as your preferred language, and the app will adjust accordingly. 

Once your language is set to Spanish or French, all vet visits and consultations will be conducted in your chosen language. 


Our new Spanish and French language support is part of our ongoing effort to make pet care more inclusive and accessible to all families. Whether you’re new to Airvet or a long-time member, we’re excited to bring you this new feature and take another step toward being the most inclusive pet care platform available.
