Prescription Expansion: Mississippi and Texas

What: We’re thrilled to continue expanding our telemedicine services to Mississippi and Texas this month, offering more pet parents convenient access to prescriptions. With this expansion, Airvet can now cover over 50% of the U.S. population!

Why: By broadening our reach, we aim to ensure pets across Mississippi and Texas receive timely and quality telemedicine prescriptions.

Key Benefits:

• Extended access to telemedicine services for Mississippi & Texas residents. 
• Integration with local veterinary practices.
• Choose doorstep delivery with items shipped directly to your home.

How to use: Residents of Mississippi and Texas can now access prescription services through the Airvet app under Additional Appointments, select Talk to a vet for “Need a prescription?”

Examples of issues Airvet can treat with prescriptions:

• Flea and Tick Prevention: Get your pets protected from these common pests with easy access to preventive treatments.
• Allergy Relief: Manage your pet’s allergies with antihistamines or other medications tailored to their needs.
• Infections: Treat bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infections with the appropriate prescription medications.

How to use: Pet parents can access the From Our Veterinarians section directly within the Airvet app. Simply navigate to the From Our Veterinarians on the homepage to access resources for pet care.

Specialized Visit Update: Relocation Support

What: At Airvet, we understand that moving is stressful for everyone, including pets! That’s why we’ve updated our Travel Preparation to include questions about relocation.

Why: Our Travel Preparation consultation offers a convenient 10-15 minute session aimed at helping pet parents ensure their furry companions relocate safely and comfortably.

Key Benefits:

• Guidance on how to prepare your pet for relocation.
• A customized plan to support you and your pet.
• Expert guidance on best practices for traveling with pets.

How to use: On the homepage of the Airvet app, scroll down to the section titled ‘Additional Appointments’. Select “see all” and tap on the visit titled “Travel confidently with pet health tips from veterinarians” to set up your visit. 

In the “Any additional information you’d like to share?” box, feel free to include a note about relocation and any specific concerns you have!
